| 2 kg pears, cored, half peeled, cut into pieces 200 g caster sugar juice of 4 lemons 3 cloves |
1. I put the pears in a pot, add the sugar, lemon juice and cloves, mix well and bring to a boil. When the mixture starts to boil, I reduce the heat to about half. 2. Finally, I mash the boiled pears with a potato masher to make the jam beautifully smooth. I like them best with muffins, grated cottage cheese
and sugar. |
