500 g plain or semi-coarse flour + a little for dusting 40 g caster sugar 250 ml lukewarm milk 40 g butter 4 egg yolks 3 tablespoons rum a pinch of salt about 200 g of jam for the filling, preferably homemade 250 ml of oil for frying powdered sugar (with vanilla) for dusting |
1. Crumble the yeast into a cup, add a spoonful of flour and sugar, pour in a little lukewarm milk, stir and leave in a warm place to rise. This takes about a quarter of an hour. |
